Lisa TorbettLisa Torbett, ASID, President and founding owner of Lisa Torbett Interiors, Inc. has built her reputation on creating timeless classic interiors infused with southern grace. With a respect for the architecture and setting, Lisa continues to seamlessly integrate a balance of form and color, ease and elegance, classic and cutting edge in each of her projects. With an unerring eye, Lisa’s interiors are crafted to enhance the lifestyle of her clients.

 

Lisa has been practicing design since 1979. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. Prior to establishing her own firm she worked as a designer with D’Amico Business Interiors in Atlanta, Georgia known for their elite private and corporate office clientele and with Ellis Rickett Architects in Valdosta, Georgia. During that time she became proficient in government specifications which often accompanied large scale projects. She later went into partnership with two architects and formed Architecturally Designed Interiors, Inc.

 

Lisa worked with Sea Island Company for 20 years of which she was the in-house designer for 16 years. This allowed her to work on countless exclusive Sea Island properties such as The Cloister. Throughout her career, Lisa’s work has been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest and Trends magazine as well as several coffee table books published by Panache Partners. Her experience in the design industry includes hospitality and high-end Golf and Country Clubs including Augusta National, Ocean Forest and Frederica. She is focused on commercial, hospitality and residential new construction and renovations. Lisa also has experience in yacht and aircraft design.

Lisa is a professional member of ASID and a NCIDQ certified designer.
